A 5000mAh LiPo battery does not have one fixed physical size. Different pouch designs distribute the same nominal capacity across different thickness, width and length combinations. Compare the maximum finished battery dimensions—not only the bare cell size—against the usable cavity inside your device.

What size is a 5000mAh LiPo battery?

There is no single size. A 5000mAh cell can be built in many thickness × width × length combinations—for example a thicker, shorter pouch or a thin, longer one—all holding the same nominal 5000mAh. Compare the finished dimensions of each model against your available space rather than assuming one standard footprint.

How long does a 5000mAh LiPo battery last?

Runtime depends on your device’s average current draw. Roughly, runtime in hours ≈ 5000mAh ÷ average load in mA. A device drawing 500mA runs about 10 hours on a full charge; one drawing 250mA runs about 20. Peak loads, temperature and cut-off voltage affect the real figure.

Can THOR customize a 5000mAh LiPo battery to fit my device?

Yes. We adjust thickness, width and length, and configure the PCM, insulation, connector and wire harness to suit your enclosure. Send your maximum battery space and requirements and our engineering team confirms a suitable finished configuration on the drawing.

Can the connector and wire harness be customized?

Yes. Standard options include PH2.0 and Molex 1.25, and we can match a specific connector, polarity, wire gauge and lead length. Specify your connector and wire requirement in the inquiry and it is confirmed on the engineering drawing.

What is the difference between bare cell size and finished battery size?

Bare cell size is the raw pouch dimension. Finished size includes the PCM board, insulation, connector and wire harness, which typically add to the length and slightly to the thickness. Always design your cavity around the approximate finished size, not the bare cell.

Can a 5000mAh LiPo battery support high current?

Continuous and peak current depend on the cell’s C-rate and the PCM rating. Many 5000mAh models support several amps continuous with higher short peaks. Tell us your continuous and peak current and we confirm a cell and protection board rated for it.
