Getting the Right Shape of 1000mAh for Your Design
1000mAh is a round, popular capacity, and with 20 designs you have real shape freedom. Take it as a 4 mm-thin cell (4 × 37 × 59 mm) for a slim handset or wearable, a longer 6 × 25 × 62 mm strip for a narrow channel, or an 11 mm block (11 × 33 × 38 mm) where depth is available. Because the same 1000mAh comes in so many aspect ratios, choose by your usable cavity rather than by the number, and allow for the PCM and harness on the length. If your design sits between 800mAh and 1200mAh, the sizes overlap heavily — send us your space and load and we will confirm.

Why are there so many 1000mAh sizes?
1000mAh is a very common target, so we keep 20 different pouch designs for it. That gives you unusual freedom to match an exact cavity — thin and long, or short and thick — all at the same nominal capacity. Compare finished dimensions to pick the best fit.
How thin can a 1000mAh cell be?
The slimmest is 4 mm (THOR-403759, 4 × 37 × 59 mm). A thinner profile spreads the capacity over more area, so an ultra-thin 1000mAh cell needs more board length or width.
Do you have a long, narrow 1000mAh format?
Yes — for example 6 × 25 × 62 mm (THOR-602562), useful for pen-shaped or narrow-channel products where width is limited but you have length.
How long will 1000mAh last?
Runtime in hours ≈ 1000 ÷ your average mA. A device drawing 100 mA runs about 10 hours; one drawing 50 mA about 20. Peak loads and cut-off voltage shift this — send your profile for an accurate figure.
800, 1000 or 1200mAh — which should I pick?
The physical sizes overlap, so the best choice is usually driven by your exact cavity and required runtime rather than the capacity number. Send both and we will recommend across the three.
Can I customise the connector and get samples?
Yes. PH2.0 and Molex 1.25 are standard, with full connector, polarity, wire and PCM customisation confirmed on the drawing, and prototypes available before production.
