Description

THOR-501520 provides 100mAh in a short 5 × 15 × 20mm bare-cell envelope. THOR-601120 keeps the same 20mm length and 100mAh capacity but exchanges 4mm of width for 1mm more thickness. THOR-402020 is 1mm thinner at the same capacity, but requires a wider 20 × 20mm footprint. Choose THOR-501520 when 15mm width and 20mm length are the binding mechanical limits.

The 5 × 15 × 20mm value is the nominal bare-cell envelope. The current PCM-equipped drawing is approximately 5 × 15 × 22mm. NTC placement, insulation, lead exit, connector body and wire bend radius can require additional clearance, so verify the production-intent assembly and polarity before enclosure approval.

At 3.7V nominal and 100mAh, THOR-501520 stores 0.37Wh. Actual runtime depends on standby drain, active duty cycle, regulator efficiency, cutoff voltage, temperature and aging. Capacity and geometry do not establish current capability; validate continuous and peak demand with the approved cell, PCM, wire and connector.

THOR-501520 Engineering & Fit Questions

How does THOR-501520 compare with other 100mAh THOR cells?
THOR-501520 uses a 5 × 15 × 20mm envelope. THOR-601120↗ keeps 20mm length but narrows the cell to 11mm by increasing thickness to 6mm, while THOR-402020↗ reduces thickness to 4mm but requires a 20 × 20mm footprint.
Are 5 × 15 × 20mm the finished THOR-501520 dimensions?
No. They are nominal bare-cell dimensions. The current PCM-equipped drawing is approximately 5 × 15 × 22mm, and NTC placement, insulation, connector body, lead exit and wire routing can require more clearance. Confirm the production-intent assembly before enclosure release.
How should runtime and current suitability be checked for THOR-501520?
Use 0.37Wh as the nominal energy starting point, then measure standby drain, active duty cycle, conversion losses, cutoff voltage, temperature and aging effects. Verify continuous and peak demand with the approved PCM, wire and connector before sample approval.
