THOR-424272 is the thin, broad 1500mAh option in this selection pair. Its 4.2 × 42 × 72mm bare-cell envelope suits shallow cavities with generous width and length. THOR-103048 provides the same 1500mAh capacity in a much shorter and narrower 10 × 30 × 48mm geometry, but requires more than twice the cell depth. If only a small thickness increase is acceptable, THOR-454272 keeps the same 42 × 72mm footprint at 4.5mm thickness.

The 4.2 × 42 × 72mm value is the nominal bare-cell envelope. The current PCM-equipped drawing is approximately 4.2 × 42 × 74mm. Allow for insulation, lead exit, connector mating space and wire bend radius, and confirm the final assembly against the approved drawing and production-intent samples.

At 3.7V nominal and 1500mAh, THOR-424272 stores 5.55Wh. Usable runtime varies with load profile, regulator efficiency, cutoff voltage, radio or display duty cycle, temperature and aging. Do not infer pulse or continuous-current capability from capacity or cell area alone.

What finished-pack length should be allowed for THOR-424272?

The nominal bare-cell size is 4.2 × 42 × 72mm, while the current PCM-equipped drawing is approximately 4.2 × 42 × 74mm. Connector mating space, insulation, lead exit and wire routing can require additional clearance, so approve the enclosure with the production-intent assembly.
