Description

The THOR-805255 supplies 2800mAh in an 8 × 52 × 55mm bare-cell format with a near-square footprint. THOR-805050 keeps the same thickness with a smaller 50 × 50mm footprint and 2400mAh, while THOR-804864 uses the same 8mm thickness in a narrower, longer 48 × 64mm format and increases capacity to 3000mAh. THOR-805255 is the balanced choice when width and length can remain close and 2800mAh is sufficient.

The nominal 8.0 × 52 × 55mm cell envelope is not the final OEM pack envelope. PCM, NTC, insulation, lead length, wire routing and connector selection can add space around the cell and should be defined for the final assembly. Confirm the finished dimensions and electrical configuration against the device enclosure before sample approval.

The nominal energy is 10.36Wh at 3.7V and 2800mAh. Actual runtime and usable energy depend on the load profile, conversion losses, cutoff voltage, radio or display duty cycle, temperature and aging. Validate continuous and pulse current against the released configuration rather than inferring performance from capacity or footprint.

THOR-805050↗ keeps the same 8mm thickness but uses a smaller 50 × 50mm footprint and provides 2400mAh. THOR-805255 expands to 52 × 55mm for 2800mAh.

Are PCM, NTC and the lead configuration fixed for THOR-805255?

No. PCM, NTC, lead length, wire routing and connector selection are configuration-dependent and should be confirmed for the final OEM assembly before sample approval.

Can 2800mAh be used to assume the radio transmit-current capability?

No. Capacity and current capability are different design parameters. Continuous and pulse current must be checked against the released cell and protection configuration for the actual duty cycle.
