Description

THOR-401220 provides 70mAh in a very small 4 × 12 × 20mm bare-cell envelope. THOR-401020 is 2mm narrower at the same length and thickness but provides 55mAh. THOR-401025 keeps 70mAh and 4mm thickness in a narrower 10mm format that is 5mm longer. Choose THOR-401220 when minimum length matters more than minimum width.

The 4 × 12 × 20mm value is the nominal bare-cell envelope. PCM, insulation, connector height, lead exit and wire bend radius can dominate the finished dimensions in this size class, so validate the complete assembly rather than the pouch cell alone.

At 3.7V nominal and 70mAh, THOR-401220 stores approximately 0.26Wh. Runtime depends strongly on standby drain, wake frequency, pulse load, regulator losses, cutoff voltage, temperature and aging. Test voltage sag with the actual electronics.

Why can the finished THOR-401220 battery be larger than 4 × 12 × 20mm?

Those are nominal bare-cell dimensions. PCM, insulation, connector height, lead exit and wire bend radius can add significant space relative to such a small pouch cell.

What electrical checks matter most for a 70mAh cell?

Measure sleep current, active duty cycle, pulse magnitude and duration, regulator efficiency, cutoff voltage and charging behavior. A low average current does not guarantee that a short radio or audio peak will remain above the system cutoff voltage.
