Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with THOR Power, operated by Dongguan Hongteng Gaoneng Technology Co., Ltd. (registered in Dongguan, Guangdong, China). Manufacturing support is provided by Dengzhou Xinju New Energy (Henan) Co., Ltd. For any questions, please contact us at sales@thorbattery.com or WhatsApp/Tel: +86 180 2916 9106.
1. Production Lead Times
All THOR Power products — including custom sample batteries and bulk production orders — are manufactured to customer-confirmed specifications. Lead times are not fixed and will be confirmed in writing in the Proforma Invoice (PI) or order confirmation based on the scope of work, current production scheduling, and material availability.
Typical indicative timelines (subject to change and to the written confirmation in the PI):
- Custom samples: Approximately 7–20 business days after written design and specification confirmation, depending on complexity and tooling requirements.
- Bulk production orders: Approximately 20–45 business days after receipt of deposit payment and written specification confirmation, depending on quantity, cell availability, and production queue.
The lead time stated in the PI or written order confirmation is the controlling reference. The above ranges are for general guidance only and do not constitute a contractual commitment.
2. Qualified and Compliant Shipping Channels
Lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods under international transport regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR, and applicable national regulations). THOR Power ships lithium battery products exclusively through transport channels and carriers that are qualified and authorized to handle lithium battery shipments.
We select freight forwarders and carriers experienced in lithium battery compliance. Applicable shipping modes include air freight (with appropriate UN 38.3 testing and IATA compliance), sea freight, and express courier services where permitted for the specific battery type and destination country.
Certain battery configurations may only be eligible for specific shipping modes depending on watt-hour rating, cell chemistry, state of charge, and destination country regulations. We will advise customers of available and eligible shipping options for their specific order.
3. Estimated Transit Times
Transit times provided by THOR Power or our freight partners are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the carrier, route, origin and destination customs clearance, local public holidays, weather conditions, port congestion, or other factors beyond our control.
THOR Power is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs authorities, import inspections, or any circumstances outside our direct control. We will do our best to assist customers in monitoring shipments and resolving carrier-side delays.
4. Shipment Tracking and Logistics Updates
Upon shipment, THOR Power will provide customers with the relevant tracking number(s), carrier information, and shipping documentation (such as air waybill, bill of lading, or express tracking number) by email or agreed communication channel.
Customers are responsible for monitoring the shipment status using the provided tracking information and for being available to receive the goods at the confirmed delivery address.
5. Delivery Address Confirmation
Customers must confirm and provide an accurate, complete delivery address — including company name (if applicable), full street address, city, postal/ZIP code, state or province, and country — before shipment is arranged. Any additional costs, delays, or re-delivery charges resulting from an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address provided by the customer are the customer’s responsibility.
Please notify us immediately if a delivery address needs to be changed after an order is confirmed. Address changes requested after goods are dispatched may not be possible or may incur additional charges by the carrier.
6. Shipping Delays, Loss, and Damage in Transit
Delays: If a shipment is significantly delayed beyond the estimated transit time, please contact us at sales@thorbattery.com. We will coordinate with the freight partner to investigate and provide an update. THOR Power is not responsible for carrier-caused delays but will assist with carrier follow-up where possible.
Loss in transit: If a shipment is confirmed lost by the carrier, we will work with the carrier and any applicable cargo insurance provider to determine next steps. Customers should notify us promptly if tracking shows no movement for an extended period or if delivery is overdue. We will advise on the available options, which may include replacement shipment, claim filing, or other remedies based on the circumstances.
Damage in transit: If goods arrive visibly damaged, customers must:
- Note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt or proof of delivery at the time of receipt;
- Take clear photographs of the outer packaging and the damaged products;
- Notify THOR Power at sales@thorbattery.com within 7 calendar days of receipt, providing photographs, a description of the damage, and the order/shipment reference.
Claims for transit damage that are not reported with adequate documentation within the required timeframe may not be eligible for remediation.
7. Shipping Documentation
THOR Power will prepare and provide the shipping documentation necessary to comply with applicable transport regulations. Depending on the product model, cell chemistry, battery configuration, and destination country requirements, documentation may include:
- UN 38.3 test summary or certificate
- Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
- Dangerous Goods Declaration (DGD) where required by the carrier or mode of transport
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Certificate of Origin (if applicable and requested)
- Other certificates or documents as required by the importing country’s customs authorities
Customers requiring specific additional documentation should notify THOR Power in writing before the order is finalized. We cannot guarantee that all certifications will be available for every battery configuration. Availability of specific certification documents will be confirmed on a per-order basis.
8. Import Duties, Taxes, and Customs Clearance
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in the PI or order confirmation, THOR Power ships on an EXW (Ex Works) or FOB basis, or as otherwise specified in the PI. Under these terms:
- All applicable import duties, customs tariffs, value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), and any other import-related charges or taxes imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer (importer).
- Customs clearance procedures, including the appointment of a local customs broker where required, are the customer’s responsibility.
- Any delays resulting from customs inspection, customs hold, or additional documentation requests by the destination country’s customs authority are outside THOR Power’s control.
THOR Power will provide accurate and complete commercial documentation to support smooth customs clearance. We do not falsify commercial invoices, understate product values, or misdeclare product descriptions for customs purposes.
9. Lithium Battery Transport Restrictions by Country
Lithium battery import, transport, and sale regulations vary by country and change over time. Some countries impose restrictions on the importation of lithium batteries by air freight, sea freight, or express courier, or require specific certifications, approvals, or labeling to clear customs.
Customers are responsible for verifying that the battery products ordered are permitted to be imported into their country and comply with all applicable local regulations. THOR Power will advise on known restrictions to the best of our knowledge, but we cannot guarantee comprehensive knowledge of all current or future regulatory requirements in every jurisdiction.
If a shipment is seized, detained, or returned by customs authorities due to local import restrictions, applicable regulations, or the customer’s failure to obtain required permits or approvals, the associated costs are the customer’s responsibility. We will cooperate with customers to provide documentation and information needed to resolve customs issues.
